When you really hit the big time...you can send your t-shirts out to the cleaners.
Then you have
I accidentally had my t-shirt in with the pile of dry cleaning
They will dry clean a t-shirt
Add a tiny bit of starch
Charge you for it
Even if you didn't mean to take the $7 t-shirt to the cleaners in the first place.
Even when you say
OH...I so didn't mean to have this in the pile!
The added "so" for emphasis didn't seem to have any effect.
This it totally the kind of thing I try not to have hanging around when the husband comes home.
How was your day?
And did ya do anything silly today that cost us to spend extra cash with very little pay off?
I am married to an ironing savant.
The man has skills with the ironing.
He comes from a long line of ironers.
I have several burn marks on my arms and one on my leg...
from ironing mishaps.
I go with the whole idea that perhaps I shouldn't be allowed to iron
For saftey issues.
I remember asking in the early days of marriage
Back when hubby needed me to iron the Military BDU's (the camo)
If he thought we would ever have enough money to send the cleaning out?
I was so bad at it.
And that day came.
Well, apparently I'll send just any ol' thing out to be cleaned:)
What is/was your making it big time luxury?
For me - it was sending out the cleaning.
Forone day, it would be to have a cook.
