Kelly,
So sorry that happened and quit being so hard on yourself! I am sure that you will laugh about it soon!

sue Treiber

Awww! I hope it feels back to normal soon. I have the magnetic power cord, and it's a good thing, because my dog s costantly unplugging it!

Kirsten

Ah...we are kindred souls...how many times a day do I say, "oh! there's gonna be a new bruise!". And I'm constantly telling my daughter, "you get beat up enough in life, don't do it to yourself". Take care!

Lisa

I TOTALLY did that to my last laptop. I was sitting at the dining room table, got up to get something, tripped over the cord and launched in onto the hardwood. It died, too.
I didn't twist my ankle, though. :)
(I did, however, trip on the street a few weeks ago and landed face first on the concrete. If that helps.) :) Feel better!

Nancy L.

ouch! hope you feel better!

Vel

Aww, sorry you're trippy. I am too...can't tell you how many broken toes I've had because I walk into things.

And hey, they've got cords that aren't really cords? Because I've tripped over mine too many times to count...maybe I should look into that...

Lain

HUGS. :(
I knocked my laptop off the table once. Boo. Was it on when you tripped? It's better if it wasn't going.

Just read this last night in Good Housekeeping:
"Every year, over 6000 people end up in the ER because of broken toes from dropped laptops, bashed knees from trippin over cords, or other computer-related injuries. Such accidents have gone up eightfold."
At least you are not alone!

Lain, that is indeed a comfort:)

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm not sure which is worse, hurting your ankle or breaking you laptop... either way, I'm sorry and I hope you recover soon!
