Joseph, of course

Me - That is cute Max!  Who is it?

Max - It is Joseph.  Of course.

Me - Right.  The coat of many colors.  I got it.

Why he got up and needed to make a mini Joseph before breakfast, never came out.  

 

Me- Hey David, look at the butternut squash!

David - That is pretty cool, Mom!

Why I felt the need to carve a face in the butternut squash I was cutting up for dinner never came out.

(I thought the pepper corn eyes were what really gave it the personality.)

 

Me - David...what is this?

David - I don't like the peelings on green apples.

Me - Oh.  Ick.  Throw that stuff away.

We did, however find out what these little husks were.

the butternut squash is very Muppet-ish .... Jim Henson always felt the personality/character came from the triangle between the eyes and mouth.

And you needed to ask why Max felt the need to draw a Joseph, when you needed to carve a squash???? :)
