48 Photos later...
We were killing time in the car, waiting for D & A to get out of science class.
Graham cracker turned out to be much cheaper than the kits kats we used last year.
The rainbow ends right over Wells Fargo.
Alex took the picture (moving car + cell phone photo).
Oh, the guilt. We really did try to fix (save) Walter the yard ornament polar bear.
"Dude, what is up with the creepy turtle someone left on the kitchen counter??"
This turtle has some serious teeth. (Turtle is a toy...as already have flesh eating hamster responding to the name Vader).
I probably traumatized our sweet little (non flesh eating) hamster by taking this picture of her. But isn't she cute?
Maybe, if I hide inside my own shirt she will not see me and I will not have to do my math....
And she wants him to be entertained.
She (Madison) is doing a finger puppet show over the top of Alex's computer screen.
He is asleep on the sofa in the middle of the room. With people watching football, playing pool, talking and putting (yes - putting) all around him.
Alex doing his work as David makes bombs out of play dough.
The boys and their best friends hitting the houses....still in broad daylight. I said it was ok. Woops.
He either sounds like he is going to come through the ceiling when he walks upstairs or he is a silent ninja who totally startles me by just appearing when I look up.
I think the loudness must be to throw off my senses.
Twice a week we are in Wal-Mart for music lessons.
Every single time they ask, "Can we just go an look in the toy department? Real quick?"
I finally said, "Do you REALLY think they changed anything since we were here last?"
We walked over and they had reset the whole thing.
They looked at me with smug validation on their faces.
Max, reading in Barnes and Noble.
Loved taking him there on Mondays and reading with him or near him this while D&A were in science class.
He counted out a certain number of pebbles for his bite because he said the commercial recommended a certain amount per bite.
Alex, just after falling off his boogie board and taking in large amounts of salt water.
I did ask if he was ok.
Right after I took this picture.
My niece, Madison, being a race car driver in her new (Max's old) race car driver outfit. Love the blur.
D & A climb a tree that we have been posing for photos in front of (at the beach) since they were babies.
We didn't let them climb it when they were babies, though.
9/04/11
Our beach trip was not quite what we had hoped for. Tropical force winds. Rain. The boys had fun pretending to be blown away by the rain.

The historic plate on the church door where my Grandmother's funeral was held on this day.
Part of a photo series I am shooting called:
He Can Sleep Anywhere
David, on the sofa in the kitchen.
In the middle of the day.
As everyone goes about their business all around him.
Or is it the shelf that the dust is on?
My craft room after the construction in our basement.
It was very, very dusty.
Everywhere.
"The only thing keeping this old TV from dying is the fact that I really want to replace it." John David
The old TV (on the right) did finally give out.
The new TV (on left and held by Alex) is lovely.
