A science project made of chocolate cake, 3 kinds of green sprinkles, whip cream, powdered sugar, blue icing and sprinkles....and a few plastic animals. Not to scale:)
I came across this series of drawings by David on our dry erase board (which is older than he is).
Beware of the over work out. I think I am safe:)
David was throwing this around today. It really looked like angry beanbag was attacking him.
Max: Guess what this is?
Me: Wow, I'm just not sure.
Max: Fishes and loaves.
Me: Absolutely
Max found a more enjoyable use for his letter tiles...spelling his name in silly putty.
I think these little guys were part of a stroy line David was working on for either a game a comic idea.....
David's chipmunk drawing to go along with his presentation to his science group. I tried to convince him to add musical ability to his list of facts about chipmunks...but he declined.
Authentic part of our day: I just snapped the picture. No one brushed their hair, trimmed fingernails or closed the pantry door in the background.
David's diorama of the Layers of the Temperate Forrest. I like the bat hanging from the string:)
Alex's flying squirrel drawing to go along with his presentation for his science group.
Alex: I don't know really what to do for the diorama.
Me: That is o.k. because I am awesome at dioramas. I will help you.
(I just gave him the supplies, he actually made this. Love the pom pom acorns. And the bird flying in from the right.)
Numbered t-shirts. I love this idea. But, of course, I am the first born in our family and the first grandchild...so my number is always #1. I might feel differently if I were a #5 or something.
D decorated this little all white guy with sharpies. I think he came from an art set purchased at K-Mart. Yes, K-Mart.
