SO.
I am learning to drive a Suburban.
Little reminder to carry with you...I am about the size of a 6th grader.
Our van was totalled.
I guess I don't have to figure out how to get the chocolate milk off the ceiling after all.
But that makes for a new issue: what to drive?
I am a mini van girl thru and thru.
Seriously.
I like the minivan.
Hubby was ready for something else...a Suburban.
We still have 3 carseats/booster seats...so we had that to consider.
And 3 adults.
The one we bought wasn't ready (something about the sunroof, something mcsomthinging)
So they handed us the keys to a more expensive, newer version right off the lot.
We drove home and proceeded to go nowhere for about 4 days.
I drove it for the first time running late for Alex's first soccer practice.
I didn't even realize the PRICE STICKER was still on it! I ripped that off.
I wanted to put a new one on there.
"This isn't what we paid! Ours wasn't this expensive. OH, and there was this rebate thingie AND even if we had payed this much we would never ride around saying look at us and our big new Suburban. Bet you wonder what it cost? Well lookie here... it is POSTED on the side!"
But if you put that much information on a vehicle...ya gotta drive real slow like so people can read it all.
What car best fits you - who you are?
What car best fits who you want to be?
I think I am a boxie (old style) red Volvo station wagon.
I think the car I most wanna be is a boxie (old style) red Volvo station wagon. But with some smokin' rims. And if I could do that little raise and lower hoopdie thing at traffic lights...that would be cool.
How about you?
Happy Tuesday!
