so david and alex have been attending a karate day camp this week
they are there for 6 hours
which may seem like no big deal to most people
that really is the longest i have ever just dropped them off somewhere
(excluding traveling, of course)
as i packed their lunches on monday
i told alex
you know, i'm a little sad because you are going to be gone all day long.
he
with hands in his pockets
shruged his sweet shoulders and said
well, i can think of sadder things
you are so your father's son,
i thought
i dropped them off
and looked back
to see alex waving at me from the window
until i was out of sight
now that's my boy:):)
