You may not want to just read the beginning
See?
How hard was that to put a disclaimer first?
So we got this DVD series from The Discovery Channel a while back. The boys wanted to watch the Dragons episode this week. I sat down about 10 minutes into it.
It was fascinating!
They found a mumified dragon preserved in a frozen cave.
Dude! They did all these tests and showed how it could have breathed fire, how it flew, etc.
Then they looked at all the commonalities in mythology from around the world involving dragons.
It was a really interesting special.
I remember thinking, "Wow, how did I miss out hearing about this on the news?"
So, I tell some people about this amazing special.
I convince the husband to rewatch it with us.
In one little sentence in the "making of this DVD" section at the END
they make mention of
"If there was scientific evidence, then how would people's opinion of dragons change?
So we came up with the idea to create a frozen dragon corpse...."
What?
Made it up?
I felt like such an idiot.
Funny how I feel like one when I act like one:)
I had to CALL PEOPLE to tell them it wasn't true.
Some, I have to say, were not surprised to hear that.
I know,
I know
they are thinking of taking the word gullible out of the dictionary too...
Sigh.
Happy Thursday!
