(Shutterfly Book give away details below)
So what is the deal with all this Shutterfly talk?
I like to take pictures.
I even take pictures of people taking pictures.
I started using Shutterfly years ago.
It is the first and only place I keep my photos on line.
I've made books and projects.
I've ordered tons of photos.
Even my Christmas cards from Shutterfly.
It is a very easy site to navigate...
even for such a non-computerie person like me.
So when they asked if I'd like to give away some photo books,
it was pretty much a no brainer for me.
But here is the big reason I like Shutterfly so much.
Customer Service.
Customer service is a BIG deal for me.
I wrangled all 3 boys into their matching red turtle necks 4 years ago.
Hair smoothed down, teeth brushed and everyone smiling.
Victoriously, I loaded my 1 good photo onto Shutterfly
and made a Christmas Card with it.
I corrected the red eyes.
I selected the perfect greeting.
I ordered it.
Later that week, the cards arrived and....
100 cards x 3 boys = 600 red eyes looking back at me.
Of course, I freaked out a little tiny bit.
Of course.
I called Shutterfly.
The very nice man listened to me.
I told him I knew for a fact that I saved the red eye correction.
But then I realized that I had changed my mind about so many other things on the card, that maybe I had undone the save by changing backgrounds or something like that.
He never questioned if I messed up.
(Which at this point, I was wondering it myself.)
He walked me through the process of re-saving the card.
And 2 days later
I had 100 new cards.
No red eyes.
No charge.
Dude.
I want all my photos in 1 place.
And I want that place to be Shutterfly.

what a great idea! for some reason, i've never been a big fan of professional (stoic) photographs of kids. this would be a great way to have my mom (and in-law) feel happy to have something in their hands of my cuties.
Just send me an e-mail with BLOG in the subject line and I can get the info to you on your book!
